長野県在住の一般消費者が、東京在住の個人で運営しているインターネットサイトで
ヴィンテージ風ポロシャツを購入した。その消費者が、商品を受け取り確認したところ偽物ではないかと思い、販売元に確認したが、「本物の商品だ」という回答。
消費者は、不安に思い、日本での代理店である山本社に商品確認の依頼をした。
山本社から、似寄りの形で色違い（ボルドー）があったため、確認したところ
何点かのポイントで違いがありました。
