I really like the thought (smile!) that a Japanese is really eager to see a Japanese tsuba mounted on a Japanese sword someplace in Germany...
You want to see how it's going to look - I'll send you pictures.
But it will take a while because a) the sword is not here, but at our old place (we're just in the process of moving), b) it's in shirasaya and I'm still
trying to get all the single pieces of koshirae together. But even with the unmounted blade along with the tsuba for size comparison you might get
an idea of what it's eventually going to look like.

どんな感じか君も見たいだろ、写真を送るよ。
けど少し時間かかるよ、なぜならa)刀はココにはなく俺達の昔の場所にあるから（俺たちは今移動中）、そして b)白鞘入りでまだ拵えをひとつにしようと奮闘中だから。けど鍔なしの刀でもその大きさを比較すれば、どういうふうになるかわかるようになるかもしれない。
