採択されれば上限2500万円の補助金の受給と、策定計画に基づくスマートコミュニティ構築費用の3分の2の補助を受けられる。
今回採択されたのは、事業計画策定への支援。9月までに、石巻市の「エコ・セーフティタウン構想」に基づき、地域のエネルギー管理を行うEMS（エネルギーマネジメントシステム）の開発や、太陽光発電システム、蓄電池の設置などにより、災害時にも電気が使える「安全・安心で環境にやさしいまち」の実現を目指した、スマートコミュニティ構築に関する計画を策定する。
Selected applicants will receive a maximum 25 million yen subsidy and another subsidy that equals to two-third of the cost to build their smart community based on their plan.
The one selected this time is a support to create a master plan for a smart community in Ishimaki. The master plan will be drawn up by September based on the city’s “Eco-Safe Town Plan.” It will aim to realize a “safe, secure and eco-friendly town” in where electricity will be available even when a disaster occurs, by developing a regional EMS (Energy Management System) and also by installing solar power systems and storage batteries.
