計測方法は、箱根という場所であるため山坂道での計測なので、スタートとゴールは同一地点にして高低差はゼロとし、走行方法は、他の交通の流れに合わせながら、可能であればエコランを意識して走行した。

およそ40分程度の走行であったが、ディーゼルの2WDモデルは平均燃費計の値で20km/リットルに届きそうな19km/リットル台の数字を記録。信号の少ない平坦路の走行であれば、20km/リットルを超えるのは容易な印象を受けた。
