絹糸のしなやかさ
金糸の華やかさ
どこか懐かしさがあり
帯から感じられるエネルギーに感動し
心を奪われました。

眠ったままになっている現状を知りました。
日本にいても帯や着物とのご縁がなかなかないこの時代に
日本伝統の美を日常に身に付けられられる物を作りたい

いう想いで着物や帯をバッグやアクセサリーへアップサイクルしています。

We, OBÏTO, manufacture upcycled works using reused sashes.
They have silken smoothness as well as the brilliance of golden threads.
They also have some kind of old memories, giving me exciting energy from the sashes which fascinate me.
I realized that such sashes full of energy were unused in the daily life.
At the present time when we have no chance of wearing kimono and sashes, we are willing to manufacture items by which beauty of traditional Japanese culture can be felt.
And furthermore, for you to feel the energy gushing from the sashes, we make bags and accessories by upcycling the kimono and sashes.
