The US law that covers the shipping of items containing Mother of Pearl is the Endangered Species Act which is governed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the U.S. Department of the Interior (USDI).



MyUS now has a license to ship Mother of Pearl items, however there is a $180 fee in order to successfully export mother of pearl items.
