酸化焼成について
十分な酸素のある状態で磁土を焼く方法です。
窯内の酸素が磁土や釉薬に含まれる金属分や無機物と化合して、酸化焼成特有の色合いになります。
使用する釉薬によって完成時の色合いは様々ですが、当社の酸化焼成の商品は黄色みがかった温かみのある白色に発色します。

還元焼成について
窯内に酸素が十分にない状態を作り出し、炭素が過剰な状態で磁土を焼く方法です。
酸素がない状態で燃焼が進むと、窯内に一酸化炭素が満たされます。

Explanation on reduction firing
This method is to fire porcelain clay in a state with excessive carbon in the kiln by making the air in the kiln not to have enough oxygen.
As combustion progresses without oxygen, the kiln is filled with carbon monoxide.
