能力が高く、トスのコントロールがとても正確で、先輩やコーチからもその実力が認められています。
また、中学の先輩から学んだサーブ強力です。
特にSyouyouとのコンビネーションは周囲を驚愕させる程です。
中学の時は非常に厳しく独善的で、チームメイトからは「コート上の王様」と呼ばれ、快く思われていませんでした。
しかし高校に入学して、Syouyouと関わる中でチームメイトと協力していくようになります。
Kageyama Tobio is a character with genius skills.
He is a person with a high ability and he controls his toss very accurately. His talent is recognised by his seniors and his coach. Also, he delivers powerful serves which he has learned from his seniors when he was in junior high school.
Especially his teamwork with Syouyou is surprising to people.
When he was in junior high school, he used to be very strict and self-serving, and his teammates used to call him "the king on the court" and he was far from popular with them.
However, after entering high school and as he worked with Syouyou, he started to cooperate with his teammates.
私はTobioの性格が変化していくところが好きです。
先ほども書きましたが、最初自己中心だったのでチームの中で孤立していた彼が高校で次第に周りに打ち解け、協力しあっていくなど精神的に成長する過程は目が離せません。
Syouyouとコンビを組んでいるため、Dooujinshiでも彼と登場することが多いです。
その他に同じSetterのKoushiや中学の先輩のToruといることもあります。

I have mentioned before but I cannot take my eyes off his mental growth from being isolated in the team as he was self-centered, to starting to open up to others and starts cooperating during the high school years.
As he works together with Syouyou, he often appears together in Dooujinshi with him.
Other times he is with Koushi, the Setter and Toru, his senior at junior highschool.
