これまでは送り状の控えや出荷シリアルNo.の記録などを辿って、商品の出所をつぶさに調べる必要があり、相当の工数が掛かっていましたが、履歴検索が可能なシステムを導入したので、事務工数が大幅に削減できました。
何らかの不具合が発生した場合、どの製造ラインから出てきて何番目に作られたものかまでトレース可能になったので、工場や仕入先など、原因や責任の所在を明確化することができました。
