中学生になると直接人に嫌味を言われなくなった、クラスメイトとの身長差は更に大きくなった。クラスで休み時間にサッカーやバスケットなどをして遊ぶときはヒロキは参加できないような環境になってしまい、彼はいつも教室にいるようになった。私はいつもクラスメイトとグラウンドで遊んでいたが、学校が終わると私は昔と同じ様に彼と遊んだ。クラスメイトは学校が終わってからも外でサッカーをしたり家でゲームをしていたが、私とヒロキは彼の部屋でただしゃべったり、神社で秘密基地を作ったりしてあそんだ。
As I became a middle school student, people stopped using sarcasm on me. The gap between my height and classmates' height become even wider. Hiroki was in a situation where he could not join us when we played soccer or basketball during a break between classes, so he always stayed in classroom. I played with my classmates in the athletic field but after the school, I played with him like I had used to. After the school, my classmates played soccer outside or videogame inside but I spent time with Hiroki in his room just chatting, or at the shrine building a secret house.
