私は大学で世界の歴史でたくさんの差別が行われて、今でも差別はどこにでも存在していることを学んできた。私の中での人種差別の考えが間違っていると確信させてくれた人はマイケルだ。彼は人種差別について大きな影響を世に残して去っていった。私が彼のすばらしさを知ったのは惜しくもかれが突然亡くなって、改めてメディアで彼がブームになったときだった。彼の「Black and White」が大好きだ。彼の口から人種差別をあのような歌詞でポップに歌ったことはたくさんの人の心をポジティブにしただろう
At university I learned about how there have been countless cases of discrimination throughout history and how even today they still exist all over. The person who made me realize that my own thoughts about racial discrimination were faulty was Michael Jackson. He made a big impact on the issue of racism before leaving this world. Unfortunately just as I learned of this amazing person he suddenly passed away, then following that he once again became popular in the media. I particularly love his "Black and White." Him take the issue of discrimination and turn it into a beautiful pop song like that has surely made a positive impact on many people.
