Keisai Eisen
Keisai Eisenとは、江戸時代後期に活躍した日本の浮世絵師。
退廃的で妖艶な美人画で知られ、春画と好色本にも作品が多い。
彼は遊廓の女を、妖艶さと強い意志を湛えた眼差しを持つ女性として描いた。
彼の描いた肉筆美人画は、江戸時代の後期、退廃的な美意識を象徴的に表し、世情を反映したアクの強い画風を示している。
作品説明：遊女が一晩過ごしたお客を見送った後でお酒を温めている。
その姿は商売用の気取った姿とは異なる開放感にあふれた自然さがあふれている。
Keisai Eisen is a Japanese Ukiyoe artist who took an active part in the latter half of the Edo period. He is known as decadent and fascinating pictures of beautiful women and he painted a lot of pieces of shunga(erotic pictures) and Koshokubon(pornographic book) as well.
He painted women in licensed quarter as women who had voluptuous beauty and look displaying strong will.
His original drawing of beautiful women's portrait represent simbolically a a decadent sense of beauty and show a harsh tasting style.
