GarageFarm.NET is a small but powerful farm that takes up a little bit of real estate in our living room (I know, I know the name is a bit deceiving).
The backbone of the farm is a server with 8TB of hard drive space and 8 dual quad core XEON computers with 12GB RAM each - 64 Cores in total. That is 150Ghz of pure rendering power.
This equals to 181,720 XX1 points and 64.4 XX2 points. We have a dedicated computer for radiosity caching/backing, it have has 12 cores (plus Hyper Threading), 35Ghz, 18Gb of RAM and two RAID systems SAS and SATA.
