－女性っぽさが出ないように配慮して、女性が着る衣装をつくるのは大変そうです。
何かコツはありますか？
服を作る時に、肩幅は男性L寸、腰回りは女性M寸にして、丈は男性M寸で作成すると少女漫画の男性キャラっぽくなるんじゃないかな。
個人的なテクニックですが(笑)！
肩幅を大きくすると視覚効果で顔が小さく見えるだけでなく、
腰とお尻周りが小さく見えるのでおすすめです。
－男性と女性の寸法をおりまぜて作っていらっしゃるんですね！
すごく参考になりそうなテクニックです。
- It seems quite difficult to make costumes for women to wear at the same time trying not to make them so feminine.
Is there any tips for this?
By making costumes with men's large size for shoulders, women's medium size for waist, and men's mediums size length, I think it makes it look like the male characters in girl's comic.
It is my own technique! (lol)
Because of visual effect, large shoulder size, not only make the face size smaller, but also makes waist and hip smaller. I recommend this.
- So you are making costumes with using both men's and women's sizes!
It is a very helpful technique.
サイズ以外では素材ですね。
ファッションの学校に通っていたのですが、先生に言われた事で、今特に実感しているのが
「高級な素材を使っても自分に縫う実力が無ければ綺麗に仕上がらない。
それよりも縫いやすい素材を使って丁寧に仕上げる方が完成度は上がります。」
と言う一言。本当にそう思います。
－先ほどもシャルルカンの上着のお話で、素材について触れていらっしゃいましたね。
Other than sizes, it is the material.
I used to go to fashion design school. What a teacher had told me which I am really experiencing it myself is that "even if I use expensive, high-class material, it can not be made nicely if I don't have enough ability for sewing. Rather than using expensive, high-class material, it is possible to increase perfection by carefully making with materials that are easy for me to sew." That is one thing I can say, and I really think so.
- You mentioned about materials earlier when we were talking about a jacket of Sharurukan.
そうですね。難しい素材も縫い方を覚えれば縫えるようになりますが、
それよりも安くて扱いやすい素材を丁寧に縫製したり絵を描いたり染めたりする方が
最終的に綺麗に仕上がります。
実際、私の自作の衣装はほとんどが超安い布ですよ(笑)
－信じられません！丁寧さがポイントなんですね。
このシャルルカンのコスプレでは、雑誌の表紙も飾られたそうですね！
コスプレ雑誌「COSMODE」さんの表紙を飾らせて頂きました。
シンドバッド王を中心に八人将がすべてそろっていて圧巻。とても楽しかったです。
That's so, isn't it? If you memorize the sewing method, you will be able to sew the difficult material too.
However, if you politely sew, draw and dye a material, which is easy to be handled, you will end up with beautiful piece of work.
Actually, clothing used in my own work is mostly very cheap. LOL
Can not believe! Politeness is a point. Isn't it?
In this Challcan's cosplay, it seems as if the front cover of the magazine was also decorated.
I decorated the front cover of the Cosplay magazine of M/s [COSMODE].
Elastic band king being the center of attention, gathering of all the 8 commanders were the main highlights.

－国内の活動だけでなく、海外のイベントにも多数参加されているとのことですが、
今までイベント参加した国はどこですか？
中国に4回、タイに2回、シンガポールに1回行かせて頂きました。
9月末にはフィリピン、10月頭には台湾に呼んで頂いきました。
とても楽しかったです！
－海外のイベントは、何か日本との違いがあるのでしょうか？
I learned how to take photos as watching a professional photographer shooting in front of me!
● I want to respect the feelings of happiness getting dressed just like the character I like.
- I heard that you have participated in domestic activities as well as many events abroad, but in which countries have you participated in these events so far?
I have been to China 4 times, Thailand 2 times and Singapore once.
At the end of September, I was summoned to the Philippines, and at the beginning of October to Taiwan.
It was really fun!
- Are there any differences between events overseas and in Japan?
日本では毎週のようにコスプレイベントが開かれていて、日常の一部になっている感じがしますが、海外では年に数回しか大きなイベントは行われません。
そのため、ひとつのイベントに本当に多くの方が参加されていて、心から楽しんでいるように感じました。
またパフォーマンスやコスプレコンテストがメイン演目にもなっていて、きらびやかな衣装や気合の入った造形が多くてとても華やかです。
In Japan, costume-playing events are held almost every week, and they seem to have become one part of daily life. But in other countries, only a few big events are held in one year.
For that reason, a massive number of people participated in one event, looking truly joyful.
Also, as contests for performances and costume playing were the main programs, there were a lot of gorgeous costumes and carefully made figurative arts, which added some glitz to the place.
参加されているコスプレイヤーも撮影に没頭すると言うよりも、イベントの雰囲気を楽しんでいたり、お友達とわいわいおしゃべりをしている方の方が多いですね。
－なるほど、イベントが少ない分、1回1回の盛り上がり方が濃密なんですね。
海外のイベントに参加されて、印象に残ったエピソードはありますか？
一番楽しかったのは、シンガポールのイベントです。
アジア各国の代表者の方たち（約18名）と数日間をともに過ごしたのですが、
通訳さんが居なかったので、必死に英語を思い出して会話しました（笑）。
Even cosplayers who have participated in the event along with other peoples they enjoy the event atomsphere more and have a chat with friends,rather than being absorbed in the photography.
-Well, an event is a little part,at sometimes it is a excitement part of climax.
Are there any episodes in the international events which kept impression behind ?
I have most enjoyed an event in Singapore.
I have spent few days together with representatives(about 18 people) of Asian countires,since there was no interpreter, I desperately remember the English conversation.
大変でしたが、でも言葉が通じなくても心は通じるんだと感じました！
－素敵な思い出ですね！やはり同じ趣味があるというのは、言語の壁を越えられるんですね。
でもイベントでは、司会者さんと二人でステージに上がって、いきなり英語でインタビューされてしまい、さすがに「ぎゃー！どうしよう！」ってなりました(笑)。
会場にいた日本語のわかる子達に助けてもらいましたが、かなり焦りました。
でもどれも本当に素敵な思い出です。

では最後に、コスプレに対する想いをお願いします。
Though it was hard but I could feel that even if the words do not get communicated, the heart does.
Isn't it a great memory! Of course you can cross over the wall of language if you have same interests.
However, in the event, I climbed up the stage with the Chairman and suddenly interviewed in English. It was like "What to do?" LOL
Though I was helped by the children present in the auditorium who understood Japanese but still I panicked a lot.
But I could make great memories in both the cases.

Well, at last, please tell your feelings regarding cosplay.
コスプレを始めてから、気づけばすごく長い年月がたってしまいましたが、
好きな作品を表現する方法として、コスプレには不可能なんてないんじゃないかなと思ってます。
こんなんじゃ駄目だ！と落ち込むことも多いですが、「もっとレベルアップしたい！」とか、「もっと似たい！」ということよりも、「好きな作品の好きなキャラと同じ格好が出来て幸せ。」という気持ちを、これからも一番大切にしていきたいと思ってます。
その気持ちを忘れてしまうと、なんだかおかしくなってしまう気がするので。
Since I started cosplay, when I noticed, long months and years had already passed, but as a method to express the works you like, I don't think there are any impossibilities in cosplay.
There are many things which depress me and make me think, "This won't do!", but more than feelings like "I want to level up more!" or "I want to look more alike!", I want to treasure the feeling of "when I can have the same appearance as a character I like from a work I like, I am happy" the most from now on as well. Because if I forget that feeling, I think somehow I will become a bit strange.
今後も「世界で一番自分がこの作品が好きなんだ（笑）！」くらいの気持ちで
がんばり続けたいと思います。
