I went to Singapore to do some sightseeing.
While I was walking in a botanical garden, I encountered an elementary school extracurricular class.
While the teacher was a Muslim, the class consisted of a lot of different races including Chinese, Indian and Muslim students. While wondering if this class was a special case I looked at my surroundings, and found that it was the same as all the other classes. The teacher explained to me that during elementary school, these students learn English beside their home-countries' language, thus enabling to learn both languages quickly. It made me wonder if the strength of Singapore is perhaps the variety the country has.

I went to Singapore for sightseeing.
I ran into a hands-on experience for elementary students when I was walking through a botanical garden.
The teacher was Muslim, and students were mixed-race such as Chinese, Indian, Muslim, and so on. I wondered if this class was special, so I looked around. Then I noticed other classes were about the same.
My guide told me that they acquire both languages which are their own language and English very quick. I fully understood. I felt that being able to accept diverseness is the strength of Singapore.
