A sacred trust
The foundation of any good relationship is trust. Trust can be developed only by getting to know another person and being open with the other person. Once you have violated this trust or given any reason to doubt that you are trustworthy, trust has been injured. And while trust can always be rebuilt, it can never be the same as it was before the injury. If you show those who work for you that you are above having to live with the same principles that you require of them, you are violating their trust.
Trust is sacred. Treat it as such. Nurture it, develop it, and protect it.

神聖な信頼
すべての良い関係の基礎は、信頼です。他の人を知るようになることとその人に心を開くことだけでしか、信頼は醸成できません。この信頼を裏切ったり、信頼できることに疑問を抱かせるような原因を少しでも作ってしまったら、信頼は傷ついてしまいます。確かに信頼はいつでも取り戻すことができますが、決して傷つく前と同じ姿ではありません。自分のために働いてくれている人たちに、自分のほうが偉いという態度を見せたら、そしてその人達に同じ原則を求めているとしたら、その人達の信頼を裏切っています。信頼は神聖です。そう取り扱ってください。信頼を育成し、発展させ、守ってください。
