These included a video games platform the Xbox, competing with Nintendo and Sony, Internet Protocol television (IPTV), the Zune music player, the Bing search engine, and Windows Mobile, a smart-phone software platform. A diverse set of products these might be, but they have yet to make the kind of impact or achieve the kind of dominance that Microsoft is accustomed to with its products.
