K-M-A Oil Field
Originally discovered in 1919, the K-M-A Field is one of the more prolific oil fields developed in the North Texas area, extending through southwestern Wichita County and northwestern Archer County.
In addition to many shallow sands, there are multiple oil producing zones, including: multiple Permian Sands under 1,000 feet; the Megargel, Thomas Sand, Gunsight between 1,600 and 2,000 feet, the Canyon Sands from 2,100 to 3,000 feet, the K-M- A series starting at plus or minus 3,800 feet.
K-M-A油田
1919年に最初に発見されたK-M-A油田はノーステキサスエリアで開発された埋蔵量の豊かな油田の１つで、南西ウィチタ郡から北西アーチャー郡にかけて広がっています。
浅瀬の砂に加えて、石油産出ゾーンが多数あります。K-M-A連続層は3,800フィート前後から始まって1,000フィート以下に複数の二畳紀砂層、1,600～2,000フィート地帯にメガーグル、トーマス、ガンサイト砂層、2,100～3,000フィート地帯にキャニオン砂層があります。
This series includes the K-M-A Lime #1, K-M-A Sand #1, K-M-A Lime #2, K-M-A Sand #2, and K-M-A Sand #3 under 4,000 feet. The deepest potential on the Cato lease is the Caddo Lime and Ellenberger dolomite formation, two zones above 4,700 feet which have yet to be developed on this lease.
連続層には4,000フィート以下にK-M-A石灰#1、K-M-A砂#1、K-M-A石灰#2、K-M-A砂#2、そしてK-M-A砂#3があります。カトーリースで一番深いと思われるのはカド石灰とエレンバーガー白雲石（ドロマイト）層で、2つのゾーンは4,700フィートより上にあり、このリースの開発はこれからとなります。
