The Smart Fortwo is a rear-engined two-seater car manufactured by Smart GmbH and introduced at the 1998 Paris Motor Show. Initially named the Smart City Coupe, the fortwo has now entered its second generation, and in 2008, an all electric concept version of the model, the fortwo ed, debuted.
Smart Fortwo は 1998年のパリ・モーター・ショーにて紹介された Smart GmbH（社） が製造したリアエンジン型ツー・シーター自動車です。元の名称を Smart City Coupe と[言い/言いますが/言うのですが]、今では２世代目に入り、2008年には全電動式をコンセプトとしたモデル、fortwo ed がデビューをはたしました。
