『CYBORG009 』コラボモデル誕生。
2016年11月25日から劇場公開の『CYBORG009 』劇中で主人公の島村ジョーが着用するシューズを商品化。コラボモデルとなる「MIZUNO RS88」は、1988年に世界一のスピードを求めて誕生した100ｍ・200ｍ専用の陸上スパイク「RACING STAR100」の復刻モデルで、島村ジョーの特殊能力‘加速装置’のコンセプトと合致していることから今回のコラボレーションが実現した。国内900足限定発売。
