他のモデルに比べて圧倒的に手間が掛かるギターなので日本でもあまり流通はしていません
さらにサーキットには、全て国産パーツを使用している点も差別点です
流通が少ないので価格にはばらつきがありますが、新品でだいたい2500～２８００ドル程です
近年のギブソンのESよりはるかに良い音がします
特にフロントピックアップの音が最高で、センターの音も素晴らしいです

All SE178 are limited models, handmade by the artisans.
The manufacturing process takes a much longer time than other guitars, so not many unit of it circulates in Japan.
Furthermore, all the circuits use local parts, another point that makes it distinct from others.
Due to the limited units in circulation, the prices varies a lot, but a brand new unit usually is priced around US$2500-2800.
It has a much better sound quality compared to the Gibson ES of recent years.
The front pickup's sound is especially amazing, and the center pickup is also wonderful.
