I am sorry that I didn't inspect the blade immediately. I would have seen the defects in the bevel with my loupe had I done so. I did not have time to closely inspect and hone until a few days ago. When I honed it the defects in the bevel were obvious.
I will pay for shipping. I think that is fair. So no shipping refund required but thank you for offering.
Also, I would rather exchange the razor and pay the difference. You have many great razors.
I don't care about fancy etching or fancy looks. I only care about "Mint Condition", great steel, great blade smith. The blade could be Iwasaki, Tanifuji, or any great European blade.
