嵐山で生まれて初めての雪とニホンザルを見た！家のリビングに飾ってある日本の美しい景色が、京都の千本鳥居と竹林だったなんて！などです。

Among Kyoto tours which one was most memorable for you, our dear guest?
Maybe first snow in Arashiama, or first time viewing Japanese macaque, or, perhaps, design of Japanese living room, or walking through Fushimi Inari’s 1000 torii, or something other? Could you tell please?
●初めて京都に来られた外国人のお客様が戸惑われるのはどんなことですか？
ほぼ全てのお客様がクレジットカードが使える場所の少なさに驚かれます。両替も含め、金融機関以外に便利なお店やコンビニATMを把握しております。
●実は外国人のお客様はこんなことを思っています！ということはありますか？
単純な日本や観光地の紹介ではなく、その奥にある文化的、宗教的背景をきちんと知りたいというお客様は、我々の想像以上に多いです。
▪ What kind of things make foreign customers surprised when they first visit Kyoto?
They get surprised that there are few shops that you can pay with credit cards.
▪Is there a thing that foreigners actually think about?
They tend to know not about simple japanese sightseeing place but more like religious things or cultural thing.
●外国人のお客様をエスコートする時に心がけていることを教えてください。
文化や習慣の違いばかりに気をとられて、おもてなしの心がおろそかになってしまわないように常に気をつけています（まだまだ未熟者ですので…）。

What are you careful about when you escort foreign customers?
I always try to be hospitable since I tend to pay attention only to difference of culture and custom(I am still a novice).

◆休日の過ごし方は？
先日までは西国三十三所観音霊場を巡礼していました（満願！）。
最近は友人に尻をたたかれ、ジョギングと水泳で汗を流しています。
あとはコージー・パウエルを目指してドラムをたたいたり、大好きなダイアンの漫才を見ています！

4月には世界遺産・下鴨神社の本殿にて21年ぶりの正遷宮が執り行われ、また新たになった神社のお力を感じていただけるかと思います。
