3つの力で未来のライフスタイルを発信する参加型プロジェクト「TRINUS」をリリースしました
製造メーカー、デザイナー、ユーザー、3つの力で「未来のライフスタイル」を発信する参加型プロジェクト「TRINUS」のβ版をリリースしました。
日本の製造業には様々な可能性を秘めたユニークな技術がたくさん存在するにもかかわらず、その多くが十分に活用されずに眠っている状況となっています。
まずは２社の製造メーカーのユニークな技術に焦点を当て、プロダクトデザインの募集を開始しています。
We have released "TRINUS" which is a participatory project that is dispatching futuristic life style with three strengths.
We have released Beta Version of "TRINUS" as a participatory project with three powers of Manufacturers, Designers, and Users.
Even though there are unique skills that has various possibilities in Japanese Manufacturers, it's not fully used, just simply been in dormant.
Hence, we are focusing on two companies unique techniques, we have started gathering for product designs.
TRINUSは、こうしたユニークな技術を取り上げ、これらを活用した製品企画・プロダクトデザインをデザイナーから募集、ユーザー（潜在消費者）からのフィードバックを踏まえて選定し、製品化・販売を行う、ものづくりの新しい形です。
不可能とまで言われたマグネシウム合金の塑性加工（潰す、曲げるといった力を加えることで変形させること）を可能にした株式会社マクルウ。TRINUSでは、この技術を活かした生活用品のプロダクトデザインを募集しています。
TRINUS is a new style of manufacturing which will pick up these technologies and collect product plannings and product designs from designers, and also will select some ideas with feedback from users (potential consumers) to turn their ideas into a commercial reality.
MACRW Co., ltd has realized plastic fabrication (means deformation with kinds of powers like compressing and bending) of magnesium alloy which was once believed it's impossible to do it. TRINUS will collect product designs of housewares which will utilize this technology.
