日本郵便に今回の荷物遅延の原因を聞いたところ1-2月の大雪の影響でNYの郵便交換局にかなりの荷物が溜まってしまいそれにより追跡番号の反映が遅れていたとの事でした
これにより最近は日本郵便にもかなりのクレームがあったらしいです

I tracked the parcel again and I'm glad to find out it arrived safely.
As I asked the reason of delay for this parcel to Japan Post, lots of parcels were accumulated to NY postal center due to heavy snow in January and February, delaying tracking numbers to be reflected.
There were lots of complaints made to Japan Post recently for this reason.
