京都文化交流コンベンションビューローは、3月11日、キャンパスプラザ京都（京都市下京区）で「京都MICEセミナー」を開催した。今回のセミナーは、ビューロー会員だけでなく、広く一般にも参加を呼びかけたもの。京都市内から約100人が参加した。
主催者の京都文化交流コンベンションビューロー・国際観光コンベンション部の赤星周平部長は、「京都市にけるMICEの現況報告」を数字データなどと合わせて解説。グローバルMICE戦略としてのMICE推進の取組みについて説明した。

Kyoto Convention Bureau held "Kyoto MICE seminar" on March 11 at Campus Plaza Kyoto (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto). This seminar was publicized toward general public widely to participate as well as members of the bureau. Approximately 100 people from Kyoto city participated.
Shuhei Akahoshi, manager of international tourism convention department at Kyoto Convention Bureau which hosted this event explained "Current report of MICE in Kyoto city" along with numerical data etc. He talked about development of MICE promotion as a part of global MICE strategy.
