栄えある日本からのノミネート・アーティストは、安室奈美恵、E-girls、ONE OK ROCK、Perfume、そしてTwitterでのハッシュタグ投稿によるファン投票によって決定した三浦大知。こちらの5組から第1ラウンド「日本代表」を決める投票がいよいよ開始されました！「日本代表」は第2ラウンド「日本・韓国代表」を決める投票、最後に第3ラウンド「ワールドワイドアクト賞」を決める投票へと進みます。
そして必見…アワードの模様は日本でもオンエア！
Proudly nominated artist from Japan are NAMIE AMURO, E-girls, ONE OK ROCK, and Perfume, and DAICHI MIURA who was determined by fan voting by hash tag posts on Twitter. Voting to decide the first round of "representative of Japan" from these five groups has started finally! "Representative of Japan" go vote to decide the second round of "representative of Japan-Korea", to vote to decide the third round the "World Wide Act Award" at the end.
And it is a must-see ... Awards will be on air in Japan!

アメリカで行われる世界的な音楽祭典「MTV VMA (Video Music Awards)」 のヨーロッパ版とも言える「MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards)」 。1994年のドイツ・ベルリンを皮切りにヨーロッパ最大級の音楽アワードとして欧州各都市で開催されてきました。
What is EMA?
"MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards)" is an European version of "MTV VMA (Video Music Awards" which is the world-class music festival held in the U.S. EMA started in Berlin, Germany in 1994, and has been held in many European cities as the biggest European music award.
今年は、ベル・アンド・セバスチャン、フランツ・フェルディナンド、モグワイ、トラヴィスといった世界的ロックバンドを数多く輩出してきた、イギリス・スコットランドを代表する音楽都市、グラスゴーを舞台に開催されます。
EMAの大きな特徴として、世界中のMTV視聴者の投票によって受賞者が決まる「ワールドワイドアクト賞」が挙げられます。「Europe」を冠したアワードですが、その範囲はヨーロッパにとどまらず、世界中のアーティストにチャンスがあるのです。
