朝の通勤時間に東京メトロ東西線の葛西駅で撮影した毎日満員電車です。
日本ではこの状況で通勤があたり前です。
知らないおじさんと見つめ合うことは頻繁にありますが
日本人はシャイなので、寝たふりをして目を閉じて、自分が降りる駅まで我慢します。

Shiretoko [Hokkaido]
Shiretoko is the third place to be registered as the world natural heritage site in Japan. It is the first place registered as the world natural heritage site including the sea.
Shiretoko is the place with beautiful sea front facing the Sea of Okhotsk and the tourist attractions including the Oronko iwa (Oronko rock) and Yuhidai (Sunset viewing platform) etc. In addition, Shiretoko is the most southern point in the world where floes reach to its coast.
These are pictures were taken during the rush hour at Kasai station of Tokyo Metro. The situation shown like this is common during rush hours at major cities in Japan.
It is frequent to meet eyes to eyes of unknown old guys during a train ride, they just close their eyes and pretending asleep to be patient until their disembarking stations as it is because Japanese are shy.
