Ａ社は米国に拠点を持ちません。先日、私は、Ａ社の新規投資担当の責任者と話しましたが、現時点では、新規投資は難しいとのことでした。
一方、Ｂ社も米国に拠点を持ちませんが、前の私の部下が定期的かつ長期にシリコンバレーに出張しています。夏休みの後、Ｂ社の新規投資担当の責任者である彼に相談する予定です。

A does not have a base in the US. As I spoke with the contact person in charge of A's new investments the other day, s/he expressed a new investment appears to be unrealistic at this stage.
B, on the other hand, is not based in the US either. But one of my former subordinates visits Silicon Valley on a regular and long-term. After the summer recess, no sooner than I find out the result with B, I will let you know.
