Looks aside, what really matters is how the tenor plays...which is great! The intonation is excellent and the horn plays freely and smoothly throughout the entire range. Most of the pads appear to be original, but they're in amazing condition. It's clear to me that this horn was played for only a short time and then put away. These pads have lots of life in them and will be fine for a good, long while. I've had the horn gone over, pads seated and any pads that needed replacing replaced, so this horn is gig ready.
別の観点で、大切となるのはテナーの音の出かたですが、こちらは本当に素晴らしいのです。調音は優れており、全音階をのびのびと滑らかに演奏します。パッドのほとんどはオリジナルのようですが、見事な状態です。明らかに、ほんの短い期間だけ演奏されて、すぐに使われなくなったようです。パッドは年数が経過していますが、しばらくの間は問題ないでしょう。パッドは固定されていて、必要に応じて交換されていることを点検しましたので、すぐにでも演奏会でお使いになれます。
