9月11日、東京国際フォーラムで「OKINAWA 離島コンテンツフェア in 東京 離島博覧会」が開催された。
沖縄県と沖縄観光コンベンションビューロー主催の同フェアは、平成25年度離島観光活性化促進事業の一環として行なわれたもの。沖縄県の各離島観光の魅力ならびに独自の特産品を県外に効果的にPRすることで、離島観光への商品造成・地域活性化につなげるため、発地エージェント・物産関係者向けに開催した。
県外での離島だけのコンテンツフェアは今回が初めて。約600人が来場した。
The "OKINAWA remote island contents Fair in Tokyo remote island Expo" was held at the Tokyo International Forum last September 11th.
The fair sponsored by the Okinawa prefecture and the Okinawa Tourists Convention Bureau was held as a
part of the remote island tourism active promotion business in 2013. An effective PR was held outside the prefecture targeting departure agents and people related to manufacturing, to promote the beauty of Okinawa's remote islands tourist spots and their own specialties products, with the aim to manufacture products for remote islands tourism and to revitalize the local region.
This is the first time for a remote islands outside the prefecture only contents Fair to be held. About 600 people attended the event.
