「みなさんの声援がブエノスアイレスに届きました」と猪瀬直樹東京都知事が挨拶。報告会終了後には都庁内で記者会見が行なわれた。招致委員会評議会議長・副会長を務めた森喜朗元首相が、刻一刻と変わる票読みのようすなど招致メンバーの現地での活動を明らかにした。
