前回の連絡から一年が経ってしまいました。
なんと私は今、シンガポールで働いています。
これまで勉強してきた英語が実り、駐在員として選ばれることができました。
Mariaさんに指摘して頂いた発音の一つ一つ、とても役立っています。
発音がいいね、と言われることも（たまに！）あります。
シンガポールは暑いイメージがありますが、日本の7-8月に比べると過ごしやすいです。
ダイソーなどもあり、日本のものを手に入れるのに困ることもありません。

It has taken me for over one year to write you since I've written you last time.
Well, believe or not, now I work in Singapore.
I've been studying English for a long time. In result, I was chosen to become a representative in the office in Singapore.
Maria, each pronunciation of the words you helped me has been so useful for me.
I have received some compliments for my pronunciation by others (occasionally!).
People may think that it's hot in Singapore. But it's pretty comfortable to spend summer here compared to hot summer in Japan in July-August. There're also Daiso stores here so I have no problem in getting Japanese products in Singapore.
東南アジアの中では、唯一英語が公用語というのもラッキーです。
中国語も公用語の一つなので、余裕ができたら勉強したいと思っています。
今年の5月に着任し、最低でも2年、もしかしたら5年以上の長い期間になるかもしれませんが、
良い機会だと思い、全力で仕事に取り組み、また全力でプライベートも楽しもうと思います。

I feel lucky that English is the official language in Singapore among south eastern Asian Countries.
Since Chinese is another official language in Singapore, I would like to learn it when I have more free time.
I arrived in Singapore in May. I will be staying here as a representative at least for two year, but possible for over five years. It is a great opportunity for me so I will work very hard and do my best as a representative for the company as well as enjoying my private life as the best I can.
