遊戯は内気で人と関わるのが苦手ですが、とても優しい性格の少年です。
大会で優勝して得られた賞金を、妹の手術費を稼ごうとしていた友達の城之内に渡す行動から遊戯の優しさが伝わります。

一方、ファラオは自信があり、突っ走ってしまう時もありますが仲間思いな面もあります。ファラオはとにかくかっこよく、デュエル中の姿は見入ってしまいます！特に「貴様に次のターンは回ってこないぜ！」という台詞を聞いたときはしびれました。またデュエルをしていて、圧倒的に不利な状況であっても、諦めずに戦い続ける姿もお勧めです！
