Original Text 僕が若い頃は、高校生や大学生は今の若い人に比べてもう少し自信があったようだ。たいていの人がすることはせず、たいていの人がしないことをする、そういう傾向があった。今の若い人は他人がすることをし、他人が着ているものを着ないと落ち着かないようだ。もちろん誰でも流行に敏感であってよいのだが、流行は追いかけるものではなく、何とかついていくものではないだろうか。	Translation When I was younger, high school students or university students looked like having more confidence than recent young people. It tended to be like they did not want to do what most people did and they wanted to do what most people did not do. Recently, it looks like young people do not feel comfortable if they do not do what other people do and wear the same clothes as other people. It is ok for anyone to get interests in latest fashion, but I believe that trends are something you can follow somehow but are not something you have to chase after.
