Online edu-training startup Simplilearn gets $10 million funding

Indian online education and training startup Simplilearn has raised $10 million in series B funding from Helion Venture Partners and Kalaari Capital.

It’s quite incredible progress for Simplilearn, which started as a blog in 2009 to share ideas on project management and act as a point of sharing information to young aspiring project management professionals (PMPs). Now it’s one of the most global Indian startups.

インドのオンライン教育・訓練を行う新興企業、SimplilearnはHelion Venture PartnersとKalaari CapitalからシリーズBで1000万米ドルの資金調達を行った。

Simplilearnにとっては大きな前進だ。というのもSimplilearnは2009年にプロジェクト・マネジメントについての考えを共有することと、若くて意欲に燃えるプロジェクトマネジメント・プロフェッショナルズ(PMPｓ)に情報提供するためのブログとして活動を開始したからだ。　今ではSimplilearnはもっとも世界的なインドの新興企業の1つとなった。

The company raised Series A funding from IDG in 2011, and another $6 million in August 2012.

Launched in March 2010, to date App Annie has analyzed over 25 billion downloads and more than $6 billion in app store revenues. It is tracking data on over 300,000 applications for over 125,000 developers. Over 45,000 developer customers are using its analytics and intelligence product. Its user base has been doubled and monthly recurring revenues tripled in the last 12 months.
