This is a kitchen knife that's manufactured under our brand. No information is available as to who the artisan was, or who ground the blade.

Because this is a kitchen knife, there's no need to be so selective about grind stone.

The knife will last long if it's not used to cut hard things such as frozen food or bones, etc.

When you grind the knife, it's best to do it in a way that the body of the knife does not touch the grind stone - This is the response I received from the artisan but it's hard to explain this in English so I attached a chart to describe.

The handle is made of magnolia, and the brace is made of plastic.

The artisan said he is willing to sell the sword if you are a person who appreciates the beauty of sword, and is appropriate to assume its 900 year history.
