一昨日、「WRAP」を購入した客からクレームが来た。「リモコンが作動しない」というクレームです。商品が手元にあり、作動チェックしたが、2個のリモコンともに作動しない。。請求書番号PO#010416の製品です。これで2週連続してクレームが来た。20分の1の確率、5%の確率で不良品が発生する。中国製なら許されるが、米国製では許されない数字です。日本では不良品を忌み嫌います。私の店の信頼はがた落ちです。もっとあなた方は生産管理を努力すべきです。これ以上の不良品は勘弁してほしい。
Yesterday, a claim from a customer who bought a "WRAP" came in. His claim was that the remote control did not work. He had the article with him and I checked it but neither of the two remote controls functioned. It was the product with the receipt number PO#010416. For the next two consecutive weeks, more claims came in. On average, there was one claim every 20 minutes and 5% of them concerned defective goods. This is a number that could maybe be excused if it had been produced in China but not in the case of a product made in the USA. In Japan, malfunctioning products are deeply loathed.
