桜が美しく咲き開く期間、日本の至る所が絶景となり観光名所になります。
近年その素晴らしさは少しずつだが海外にも知られるようになり、今回私が訪れた場所にも数多くの外国人観光客を目にしました。
そう遠くない未来、美しい桜の木々と楽しい花見の文化は世界中で見られるようになるのでは、と感じました。


1000年以上もの間、日本で桜はとても特別な存在だ


一般開放されてるのに隠れ家や秘密基地の様でもある、日本の街中に時折存在するとても特別な場所です


今回とは違う角度から、この国を紹介したいと思います

During the best season of the cherry blossoms being in flower beautifully, we have great sceneries here and there in Japan and which become sightseeing spots.
Nowadays the beauty of the cherry blossoms is getting known all over the world, little by little, so I saw a lot of tourists from abroad at the places I visited in this time.
I thought that the cherry blossoms and culture of cherry-blossom viewing will be seen everywhere in the world in the not so distant future.

For over a thousand years, cherry blossoms are very precious to Japanese people.

Although the spots are open to the public and like hideout or secret base, it is very special spots, being occasionally downtown in Japan.

I will introduce the country from different standpoint from this time.

The geek shall inherit the earth

What are the implications for vendors, developers, and IT professionals in the DDI era? Software vendors that don’t understand or embrace developers will fail to be relevant. Incumbents that sell to IT administrators like virtualization, storage, network, or security admins will need to understand how to sell to developers. IT professionals need to think about how to enable developer choice and not restrict it. Finally, developers need to expand what the definition of an application is. Code isn’t just a program, or an app on a smart phone, code becomes everything from metal to management, to the final pixel.

DDIの時代においてベンダーやディベロッパーやIT専門家に対して示唆されるものは何だろうか。ディベロッパーを理解しない、またはディベロッパー業を兼ねるソフトウェアベンダーは不適切になっていくだろう。仮想化やストレージ、ネットワーク、セキュリティ管理などのIT管理ソフトウェアを現在提供している企業は、ディベロッパーに対する販売方法を理解する必要が出てくるだろう。IT専門家はディベロッパーの選択を可能にする方法を考える必要があり、それを制限してはいけない。最後に、ディベロッパーはアプリケーションの定義を拡大する必要がある。最後のピクセルに到るまで、コードは単純なプログラムやスマホアプリではない。コードは金属から管理業務までに至る全てであるのだ。

Google quietly launches Data Saver extension for Chrome

Google has quietly released a Data Saver extension for Chrome, bringing the company’s data compression feature to the desktop for the first time. You can download the extension, currently in beta, from the Chrome Web Store.

We say “quietly” because there doesn’t seem to be an announcement from Google. The extension was published on March 23 and appears to work exactly as advertised on the tin, based on what we’ve seen in our early tests.

GoogleがひっそりとChrome向けデータサーバー拡張機能のサービスを開始

GoogleはChrome向けデータサーバー拡張機能をひっそりと公開した。初めてデスクトップへGoogleのデータ圧縮機能がもたらされる。現在はβ版であるこの拡張機能は、Chromeウェブストアからダウンロードすることが可能だ。
「ひっそりと」としたのは、Googleから何の発表も無いからだ。この拡張機能は3月23日に発表され、宣伝されているまさにその通りに機能するようにみえ、過去の試験版で我々が目にしたものに基づいている。

Google’s data compression feature first showed up in March 2013 as part of the Chrome 26 beta release for Android. It was labeled “experimental” for many months, and only officially arrived for mobile users in January 2014 with the launch of Chrome 32 for Android and iOS. At the time, Google promised the service could reduce data usage by up to 50 percent while browsing the web on a mobile device.

Googleのデータ圧縮機能は、当初2013年3月に、Android向けChrome26β版公開の一部としてその姿を現した。何ヶ月にも渡り「実験版」とされ、2014年1月にあったAndroidとiOS向けChrome32の公開時に、モバイルユーザーのみに正式にサービスが開始された。その当時Googleは、モバイル機器でウェブブラウジングをする際、この機能によりデータ利用容量が50%削減できると約束した。
