My Name is Peterson, I’m 37 years old and have been living in Japan 15 years now. Being married to a Japanese national and having a kid, I don’t see myself returning to my home country anytime soon. As such, I’d like to make the most of my time here by contributing to the cultural exchange between Japanese society at large and the myriad of foreign nationals living here, and think that being a translator would be an invaluable opportunity to both realize that and to get to know a little more about the rich cultural tapestry Japan has to offer.
