初めまして。Milesと申します。
アメリカのサンフランシスコに１２年の滞在歴があります。現地で、日系の幼稚園で保育士として働いておりましたが、ビザが切れたため２０１１年に日本に帰国しました。帰国後は都内のすし職人養成学校を終了し、外国人観光客向けのすし教室、ツアーガイドを行なっておりましたが、新型コロナ感染拡大の影響で観光客からの需要が途絶えたため現在は出身地の福井県に戻り、オンラインでできる語学関係の仕事と学習塾での講師をしています。
通訳案内士の資格を持っております。TOEICのスコアは９７５です。
旅行が趣味なので、観光や旅行関連はもとより、鉄道、航空などの交通、地理の分野についても対応可能です。
Hi! My name is Miles. I used to live in San Francisco Bay Area for 12 years as a preschool teacher at one of Japanese-English bilingual programs. I came back to Japan in 2011 when my work visa expired and started to offer sushi making classes and personal tours throughout Kanto and Kiso area for foreign travelers till early 2020. I'm back in my hometown Fukui temporarily, offering some online Japanese language sessions and teaching English at local cram school for middle school students.
I hold the national certification for tour guiding throughout Japan and 975 TOEIC score.
I love traveling both domestically and internationally. I'm also interested in transportation such as railways and airlines, and Geography.
