Chinese Internet Giant Tencent Opens Cyberlaw Center, Invests in Research

Chinese internet giant Tencent (HKG:0700) has today announced the opening up of its Tencent Cyberlaw Research Center and accompanying website. It boasts a team of experienced legal practitioners and researchers – of whom more than half have doctorates – who will write, lecture, and co-operate on national and global issues relating to e-commerce, online gaming, IP law, security and hacking, and internet-related competition law.

中国の大手インターネット企業、Tencentはサイバー法の研究センターを設置し、研究に注力する

中国の大手インターネット企業であるTencent (HKG:0700)は今日Tencent Cyberlaw Research Centerを設置し、そのWebサイトを開設したことを公表した。この研究センターは豊富な経験を持つ法律家や研究者のチームを誇り、彼らの半分以上は博士号を取得している。
彼らは論文を書いたり、講義を行ったり、eコマース、オンラインゲーム、IP法、セキュリティーやハッキング、そしてインターネットにおける競争法といった、ネット関連の国際的な問題に対して共同して取り組んでいくということだ。

Here in Asia, there are a number of initiatives that you might make use of to learn programming. In China there is SegmentFault, a Stack Overflow clone that serves as a social Q&A services. Our Japanese readers might check out Dot Install, a recently-launched website that offers video tutorials for aspiring programmers. Other Asia-based options include Programr and Learnmemy. Personally, I just signed up for O’Reilly’s Beginning Python, and their selection of courses might be of interest to some of you. There’s also P2PU, which offers many different courses including some on programming.

ここアジアでは、プログラミングを学ぶための多くの取り組みがあります。中国ではSegmentFaultというStack Overflowのクローンであるソーシャル質問サイトがあります。日本人の読者の方の中にはDot Installという最近ローンチされた、高い目標を持つプログラマーのために動画によるチュートリアルを提供するウェブサイトをチェックした人もいるかもしれません。他にも他のアジア向けのサービスとしてProgramrやLearnmemyといったものがあります。私は最近は個人的に、オライリーのBeginning Pythonに登録しました。読者の方の中にはこの教材に興味をもつ人もいることでしょう。また、P2PUというサービスもあり、これはプログラミングに関することも含む様々な教材を提供しています。

The changes also caught the attention of investors, and Zhiwo announced today both the name change and that they had received an investment from Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU) and IDG for $10 million. Zhiwo’s CEO Su Haizheng said the money would be spent on the sorts of things you’d expect a fledgling ecommerce platform tobe spending on: warehouses, distribution, customer service, etc.

This demonstration shows cutting electric arc in a short time with pulling it by the magnet.
You can see the arc was cut in at short intervals than previous demonstration.
This toggle-switch is built on commercializing of this method.

We extend the method with using original cutting mechanism to stop the arc in shorter time, which you can see in this demonstration.
You'll see it was cut in a half interval of previous demonstration.
We're developing a small switch for DC, which we can show you as just reference exhibit today.

平成16年版犯罪白書はその意義について次のように述べている。
受刑者の中には、勤労習慣を持たない者、自己中心的で協調性を欠く者，忍耐力に乏しい者などが少なからず含まれているが、刑務作業を通じて、1規則正しい勤労習慣と規律ある生活態度を身に付けさせる、2心身の健康を維持する、3他人との共同作業を通じて社会生活への順応性を養う，4勤労意欲及び職業的な知識・技能を養う、5忍耐力や集中力を養うといった効果が期待されており、刑務作業は、我が国の行刑上重要な位置を占めている。

The goverment report of criminals in 2004 describes the meanings of it: There're people who don't have the customs of working, who are egoistic and lack cooperativeness, and who lack perseverance in no small number, but the prison industry is expected the effects for them as 1: Equips them to good working customs and well-disciplined life style. 2: Keep good helth in mind and body. 3: Develop adapitablity for social life in cooperation with others. 4: Give them an incentive to work and develop their knowlage or skills needed for working. 5: Develop their powers of perseverance and concentration. So it has important position in the administration of this country.
