I am a native English speaker from the beautiful island of Dominica. When I was a 7 year-old, the family moved to Belgium where I attended a local (French-speaking) school, learning and becoming proficient in one of the official languages (French). We spent seven years there. Upon our return home, I continued to pursue the language throughout high school and college. I taught French as a second language to both high school and primary school students. I also served as a bilingual interpreter during our cruise ship season.
