Original Text

Translation

Description: It is said that this painting was created by Eisen when he was of age 25-30, and it is unmistakably a masterpiece.
The painting depicts a coaxing middle-aged man who is showing an innocent girl a pornographic scroll, and is pulling the fingertips of her left hand, trying to take her for himself.
Although having some hesitation, but not enough to suppress her curiosity to the unknown experience, and being taken by the man, that moment is beautifully depicted.

This painting has an elaborate composition in which the faces of the characters are never shown. It is about a samurai who approaches a geisha, in the second floor of a restaurant facing the Shinobazu pond.
The swirly upper body of the geisha is vivid yet beautiful.
