It will be closed from the 1st of January to the 20th of April 2014 due to repairs. It seems we will be able to enjoy the view from it again during the Golden Week.

We also recommend visiting Japan's lowest mountain, Tempozan. The Tempozan park is located right to the north of the wheel.

It's an Osaka-style skyscraper.

Tsutenkaku towers above the Shinsekai part of the southern Osaka. It's an area you should go to if you want to feel the atmosphere of the city.

The Shinsekai area is full of shops that specialize in kushikatsu.

It's called "Shinsekai", which means "new world", but this shopping district has been there since the Taisho era.

It's one of the sight-seeing areas that are popular among the foreign tourists.

It's a famous Osaka landmark of an unique shape.

You can see the whole city from the hanging gardens that adorn the last floor of the building.
