I just looked at the tracking number and see that for some reason they sent the package to Auckland after it had arrived in Tokyo! I have no idea why they would do that, but it must have been an error from a postal employee in Tokyo. Hopefully they send it back to Japan or at least back to me. Let's keep checking the status of tracking to see where it heads next.

追跡番号を見てみました。その結果どういう理由かは分かりませんが、東京についた後オークランドへ行ってしまったようです。どうする事も出来ませんがなんでまたこの様な結果になったのでしょう。何でも東京側の郵便職員のミスの様です。色々ありますが無事商品が届くことを念じております。さもなくば少なくとも私のもとに戻ってきてほしいです。追跡番号をチェックし続けこの後の事を見守りたいと思います。

I have no idea why they would do that は「なぜ彼らがそんなことをしたのか、私にはわかりません」という意味です。I have no idea までを「どうする事も出来ませんが」と訳したのだとしたら、誤訳の範疇でしょう。その部分を除けば良い訳文だと思います。

ligia様、いつもお忙しい中レビュー並びに添削ありがとうございます。焦るあまりかなり間抜けな訳となってしまいました。気持ちの上ではno ideaはligia様同様に訳していた筈。しかしかなり飛びすぎた結果になり恥ずかしいです。以後気をつけます。ご指摘誠にありがとうございました。
