 機械工学、化学工学、電子工学、環境保全などの幅広い工学分野においてエネルギーを取り扱う際の基本となる、伝熱学について学ぶ。温度差によるエネルギー移動現象の理解を目的として、メカニズムの異なる伝熱現象の基礎式とその応用となる数理解法を、具体的な演習を通して修得する。
 基本的な伝熱のメカニズムである熱伝導、対流、放射について、物理現象と工学設計との関わりを含めて学ぶ。伝熱に関わる無次元数を整理するとともに、相変化を伴う熱伝達、熱交換器設計への伝熱学の応用について修得する。

Learn about heat transfer which become the basis when to handle with energy in a wide range of such as mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electronic engineering and environment conservation. To aim at understanding energy transfer by different temperature, we learn basic equation of mechanically different heat transfer phenomenon and numerical understanding method heat transfer through concrete practices.
As for heat transfer, convection and radiation which are basic heat transfer mechanism, we learn them including connection to physical phenomena and engineering design. As well as arranging dimensionless numbers related with heat transfer, we learn about heat transfer's practical use for heat transfer with phase change and heat exchange design.
