1969年デビュー当時から、1980年最後のヨーロッパ・ツアーまで、現存するライブ・フィルム映像や、インタビュー映像を時系列に収めたもので、特に1969年の歴史的なフィルモア・イーストや1970年バス・フェスティバル、さらに1971&1972年の2度となる伝説の日本公演、そして1975年、1977年のLAフォーラム公演から、1980年のファイナル・ツアーに至るまで、時代的に断片的なフィルム映像がほとんどながら、クオリティー的には現状これ以上のレベルは有り得ないといえるもの。
