English

CHAPTER 14-1
As a boss, you will daily need to act, express an opinion, or get involved in settling a situation. Perhaps you will have a conflict between two employees. Maybe it will be a conflict between your department and another department in the company. Maybe you will be asked your opinion of a new product or service. Maybe you will have an employee with a personal problem. Or perhaps an employee will share a new idea with you.

Gather information
Regardless of the situation, there is one very important rule to remember: listen before you speak. Don't make a hasty decision, and don't offer advice before you have all of the facts.
