日本てぬぐいは両端が切りっぱなしになっています。端を縫っていないので乾きが早く、
汚れやホコリがたまらず衛生的で、高温多湿の日本の気候に合っています。また縫い目が
ないため、結んだり切って使う時などにも扱いやすく便利です。

新品のてぬぐいは最初のうち両端からほつれますが、何度か洗ううちに落ち着き、端から
1cm程度で自然に止まります。洗ってほつれたら長く出た糸だけをはさみで切ってお使い
ください。
